Deotalab comprises of the following areas of Rewa district in the Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh: Naigarhi, Deotalab and Sitapur RI Circles of Mauganj Tehsil, 73 Panni, 74 Dagdaua, 75 Salaiya, 76 Foolkaran Singh, 77 Kaichhua, 78 Bahuti and 79 Karah Patwari Circles of Mauganj RI Circle of Mauganj Tehsil, Nai Garhi (NPT) NPT and Delhi RI Circle of Raipur Karchuliyan Tehsil.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 786 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Deotalab is: 24°38'22.6"N 81°43'28.6"E.
