In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Bramha Bhalavi of INC won in this seat defeating Geeta Ramjilal Uikey of BJP by a margin of 17,927 which was 9.13% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 46.92% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Sajjan Singh Ueikey of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bramha of INC by a margin of 8,084 votes which was 5.01% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.24% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Gita Ramgilal Uikey of BJP won this seat beating Pratap Singh of INC by a margin of 4,127 votes which was 3.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.08% in the seat.
