In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Purusottam/Ramkali Tantuway Hatta of BJP won in this seat defeating Harishankar Choudhri of INC by a margin of 19,905 which was 12.58% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.41% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Umadevi-Lalchand Khatik of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Hari Shankar Chodhri of INC by a margin of 2,852 votes which was 2.19% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.42% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Umadevi Khateek of BJP won this seat beating Khoobchand Tantuway of INC by a margin of 10,898 votes which was 10.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 36.79% in the seat.
