    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Tarun Bhanot of INC won in this seat defeating Harendrajeet Singh 'Babbu' of BJP by a margin of 18,683 which was 12.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 53.21% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Tarun Bhanot of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Harenderjeet Singh 'Babbu' of BJP by a margin of 923 votes which was 0.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.29% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Harendra Jeet Singh ' Babbu' of BJP won this seat beating Tarun Bhanot of INC by a margin of 8,901 votes which was 8.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.1% in the seat.
