In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Khatik Harishankar of BJP won in this seat defeating R R Bansal of MHD by a margin of 36,715 which was 26.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 45.56% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Ahirwar Dinesh Kumar of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Harishankar Khatik of BJP by a margin of 233 votes which was 0.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.9% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Khatik Harishankar of BJP won this seat beating Dinesh Ahirwar of BJSH by a margin of 847 votes which was 0.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJSH had a vote share of 23.81% in the seat.
