In 2013, Nathan Shah Kevreti of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sunil Uikey of INC by a margin of 20,121 votes which was 12.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.77% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Tejilal Saryam of INC won this seat beating Nathan Shah Kavreti of BJP by a margin of 194 votes which was 0.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 39.48% in the seat.

Junnardeo comprises of the following areas of Chhindwara district in the Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh: 1 Jhirpa, 2 Anhoni, 3 Chawalpani, 4 Bamhni, 5 Delakhari, 6 Kursidhana, 7 Muttor, 8 Dhusawani, 9 Tamia and 10 Lahagadua Patwari Circles of Tamia RI Circle of Tamia Tehsil and Jamai (Junnardeo) Tehsil.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 2,451 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Junnardeo is: 22°14'07.8"N 78°33'37.8"E.
