In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Ravi Rameshchandra Joshi of INC won in this seat defeating Balkrishan Patidar of BJP by a margin of 9,512 which was 5.38% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.92% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Balkrishan Patidar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ravi Ramesh Chandra Joshi of INC by a margin of 6,825 votes which was 4.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.38% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Balkrishna Patidar of BJP won this seat beating Ramlal Sitaram Patidar of INC by a margin of 24,750 votes which was 22.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 53.15% in the seat.
