Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Narayan Tripathi of BJP won in this seat defeating Shrikant Chaturvedi of INC by a margin of 2,984 which was 1.64% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 30.17% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Narayan Prasad of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramesh Prasad of BJP by a margin of 6,975 votes which was 4.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 31.36% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Moti Lal Tiwari of BJP won this seat beating Mathura Prasad Patel of INC by a margin of 14,306 votes which was 11.79% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 28.34% in the seat.
