In 2013, Yashpal Singh Sisodiya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mahendra Singh Gurjar of INC by a margin of 24,295 votes which was 14.05% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.14% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Yashpal Singh Sisodiya of BJP won this seat beating Mahendra Singh Gurjar of INC by a margin of 1,685 votes which was 1.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.73% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 692 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Mandsour is: 23°57'20.5"N 75°01'31.8"E.
