Location

The geographic coordinates of Rajgarh is: 23°59'24.0"N 76°42'18.0"E. Rajgarh shares its borders with five other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Rajgarh are: Chachoda, Biaora, Khilchipur, Sarangpur, Narsinghgarh. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Jhalawar district of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Bapusingh Tanwar of INC won in this seat defeating Amar Singh Yadav of BJP by a margin of 31,183 which was 17.9% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 47.02% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Amarsingh Yadav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shivsingh Bamlabe of INC by a margin of 51,211 votes which was 33.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 63.36% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Hemraj Kalponi of INC won this seat beating Pandit Haricharan Tiwari of BJP by a margin of 16,529 votes which was 13.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.1% in the seat.
