In 2013, Bala Bachchan of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Devisingh Patel of BJP by a margin of 11,196 votes which was 6.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.39% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Devisingh Patel of BJP won this seat beating Shakuntala Waskale of INC by a margin of 8,767 votes which was 7.24% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.94% in the seat.
