Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kunwarji Kothar of BJP won in this seat defeating Kala Mahesh Malviya of INC by a margin of 4,381 which was 2.9% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.59% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kunwarji Kothar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Krishan Mohan Malviya of INC by a margin of 18,113 votes which was 13.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.47% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Gautam Tetwal of BJP won this seat beating Heeralal Malviya of INC by a margin of 16,310 votes which was 15.38% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52.99% in the seat.
