Location

The geographic coordinates of Sausar is: 21°44'11.4"N 78°50'34.8"E. Sausar shares its borders with three other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Sausar are: Chourai, Chhindwara, Pandhurna. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Nagpur district of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Vijay Revnath Chore of INC won in this seat defeating Nanabhau Mohod of BJP by a margin of 20,472 which was 12.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 51.12% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Nanabhau Mohod of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhagvat Mahajan of INC by a margin of 8,416 votes which was 5.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.5% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Nana Mohod of BJP won this seat beating Yuvraj Jichakar of INC by a margin of 2,880 votes which was 2.58% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 38.53% in the seat.
