2024 General election in Manipur

The 2024 Manipur Lok Sabha election took place in two phases on April 19 and April 26. The state has two parliamentary seats, one reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Manipur has witnessed continued violence for several months due to ethnic clashes. Considering the security situation and the large number of internally displaced people, the Election Commission ramped up measures to ensure safe polling . As a result, the Outer Manipur constituency voted on both days. A total of 20.26 lakh voters were eligible to participate in the state's general election.
