Location

The geographic coordinates of Baseri is: 26°35'20.8"N 77°27'32.8"E. Baseri shares its borders with four other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Baseri are: Sapotra, Karauli, Bayana, Bari. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Agra and Morena districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Khiladi Lal Bairwa of INC won in this seat defeating Chhitriya Lal Jatav of BJP by a margin of 17,556 which was 14.56% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 45.04% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rani Silautia of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Chhitaria of NPEP by a margin of 5,748 votes which was 5.47% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 36.78% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Sukhram of BJP won this seat beating Usha of IND by a margin of 7,744 votes which was 9.83% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 35.67% in the seat.
