The geographic coordinates of Jhotwara is: 27°01'31.8"N 75°28'39.0"E. Jhotwara shares its borders with eight other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Jhotwara are: Phulera, Chomu, Dudu, Sanganer, Bagru, Civil Lines, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Amber. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Lalchand Kataria of INC won in this seat defeating Rajpal Singh Shekhawat of BJP by a margin of 10,747 which was 4.11% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 48.67% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rajpal Singh Shekhawat of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Rekha Kataria of INC by a margin of 19,602 votes which was 8.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.25% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Rajpal Singh Shekhawat of BJP won this seat beating Lal Chand Kataria of INC by a margin of 2,455 votes which was 1.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.38% in the seat.
