The geographic coordinates of Khanpur is: 27°31'15.6"N 75°33'46.4"E. Khanpur shares its borders with six other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Khanpur are: Jhalrapatan, Ramganj Mandi, Sangod, Baran-Atru, Chhabra, Manohar Thana. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Agar Malwa and Rajgarh districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Narendra Nagar of BJP won in this seat defeating Suresh of INC by a margin of 2,265 which was 1.24% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.92% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Narendra Nagar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sanjay Gurjar of INC by a margin of 30,956 votes which was 19.15% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.75% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Anil Kumar of BJP won this seat beating Meenakshee Chandrawat of INC by a margin of 4,955 votes which was 3.79% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.75% in the seat.
