Location

The geographic coordinates of Kherwara is: 24°48'30.6"N 76°22'46.2"E. Kherwara shares its borders with five other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Kherwara are: Jhadol, Udaipur Rural, Salumber, Aspur, Dungarpur. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Sabarkantha and Arvalli districts of Gujarat.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Dayaram Parmar of INC won in this seat defeating Nanalal Ahari of BJP by a margin of 24,991 which was 13% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 48.45% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Nana Lal Ahari of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dayaram Parmar of INC by a margin of 11,166 votes which was 6.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.3% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Dayaram Parmar of INC won this seat beating Nana Lal Ahari of BJP by a margin of 14,757 votes which was 10.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.2% in the seat.
