Location

The geographic coordinates of Khetri is: 24°02'58.9"N 73°35'48.5"E. Khetri shares its borders with four other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Khetri are: Surajgarh, Jhunjhunu, Udaipurwati, Neem Ka Thana. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Mahendragarh district of Haryana.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Jitendra Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Dharmpal of BJP by a margin of 957 which was 0.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 37.32% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Pooranmal Saini of BSP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jitendra Singh of INC by a margin of 7,850 votes which was 5.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 32.3% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Jitendra Singh of INC won this seat beating Dharmpal of BJP by a margin of 11,067 votes which was 11.12% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 33.8% in the seat.
