This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Mewat district of Haryana and Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh.

In 2013, Anita of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Wajib Ali of NPEP by a margin of 8,113 votes which was 5.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 30.47% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Anita of BJP won this seat beating Attar Singh Bhadana of INC by a margin of 4,584 votes which was 4.1% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 20.53% in the seat.
