In the 2008 elections, Ramesh Chand Khandelwal of INC won this seat beating Prem Singh Bajor of BJP by a margin of 22,659 votes which was 18.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.82% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 831 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Neem Ka Thana is: 27°45'11.5"N 75°52'17.0"E.
