In 2013, Khemaram of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Master Bhanwarlal of INC by a margin of 13,649 votes which was 8.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.54% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Master Bhanwarlal of INC won this seat beating Khemaram of BJP by a margin of 14,061 votes which was 11.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.69% in the seat.

Sujangarh comprises of the following areas of Churu district in the North region of Rajasthan: Tehsil Sujangarh (Partly) – (I) IlRC Sujangarh including Municipal Board Sujangarh, (II) IlRC Jeeli (III) IlRC Salasar (IV) IlRC Bidasar including Municipal Board Bidasar (V) IlRC lalgarh (VI) IlRC Tendesar.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1,896 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sujangarh is: 27°41'02.0"N 74°13'15.2"E.
