Location

The geographic coordinates of Tijara is: 27°55'19.2"N 76°50'24.0"E. Tijara shares its borders with one other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Tijara are: Kishangarh Bas. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: Rewari and Mewat districts of Haryana.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Sandeep Kumar of BSP won in this seat defeating Aimaduddin Ahmad Khan Urf Durru Mian of INC by a margin of 4,457 which was 2.43% of the total votes cast for the seat. BSP had a vote share of 32.4% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Master Maman Singh Yadav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Fazal Hussain of BSP by a margin of 37,994 votes which was 26.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.67% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Aimaduddin Urf Durru Miyan of INC won this seat beating Fazal Hussain of BSP by a margin of 6,831 votes which was 6.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 27.17% in the seat.
