Gudiyattam Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Vellore district in the North region of Tamil Nadu: Gudiyattam Taluk (Part) Aravatla, Mordana, Rangampettai, Gundalapalli, Bathalapalli, Erukkampattu, Erikuthi, Semballi, Katherikuppam, Moongapattu, Perumbadi, Agraharam, Rangasamudram, Erthangal, Morasapalli, Thottithoraimottur, Pernambut, Kothapalli, Chinnadamal Cheruvu, Masigam, Sarakkal, Kempasamudram, Pallalakuppam, Pugalur, Paravakkal, Pangarishikuppam, Kothamarikuppam, Karkur, Vasanampalli, Paloor, Machampattu, Melkothakuppam, Rajakkal, Reddimankuppam, Chokkarishikuppam, Chendathur, Melmurungai, Alinjikuppam, Melvaithinankuppam, Melpatti, kilpatti, Kulidikai, Chinnathottalam, Valathur, Karuneekasamudram and Ulli villages. Pernampattu (TP), Gudiyatham (M) and Seevur (CT). Vaniyambadi Taluk (Part) Bairapalli, Kailasagiri, Nariambattu, Sathambakkam, Komeswaram Kommeswaram, Somalapuram, Bavaravuthampattadai, Aiyathambattu, Chinnavarikam, Periavarikam, Devalapuram and Labbaimankuppam villages. In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Amalu V of DMK won in this constituency beating Paritha G of AIADMK by a margin of 6901 votes which was 3.29% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Jayanthi Padmanabhan .C of AIADMK was the winner in this seat beating Rajamarthandan, K. of DMK by a margin of 11470 votes which was 5.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, K. Lingamuthu of CPI won this seat defeating K. Rajamarthandan, of DMK by a margin of 5842 votes which was 3.61% of the total votes polled for the seat.
