Kulithalai Taluk (Part) Karuvappanaickenpettai, Vadhiyam, Manathattai, Vaiganallur (North), Vaiganallur (South), Rajendram (North), Rajendram (South), Kumaramangalam, Poyyamani, Sooriyanur, Mudalaipatti, Seplapatti, Neidalur (North), Neidalur (South), Thalinji, Kallai, Inungur, Nallur, Eranyamangalam, Sathiyamangalam, Chinniyampalayam, Gudalur, Puthur, Alathur, Rachandarthirumalai, Puluderi, Vadaseri, Kalladai, Thogamalai, Kalugur, Naganur, Porundalur, Pathiripatti, Uthuppatti and Pillur villages. In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, R Manickam of DMK won in this constituency beating N R Chandrasekar of AIADMK by a margin of 23540 votes which was 11.99% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Ramar .E of DMK was the winner in this seat beating Chandrasekaran .R of AIADMK by a margin of 11896 votes which was 6.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Pappasundaram.A of AIADMK won this seat defeating Manickam.R of DMK by a margin of 22473 votes which was 14.08% of the total votes polled for the seat.
