Tiruchuli Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Virdhunagar district in the South region of Tamil Nadu: Kariapatti Taluk Tiruchuli Taluk Aruppukkottai Taluk (Part) Kulasekaranallur, Mangulam, Melakandamangalam, Kurunaikulam, Konganakurichi, Aladipatti, Bommakottai, Kallorani, Savaspuram, Kullampatti, Muthuramalingapuram, Narthampatti, Kalayarkarisalkulam, Kalyanasundarapuram, Kallumadam, Erasinnampatti, Parattanatham, Thammanaickenpatti, Vedanatham, Silukkapatti, Mandapasalai, Maravarperungudi, Thummuchinnampatti, Thirumalaipuram, Salukkuvarpatti, Suthamadam, Thoppalakarai, Rajagopalapuram, Pullanaickenpatti, Chettikulam, Kanakai, Paralachi, Melaiyur, Vadakkunatham, Therkunatham, Sengulam, Poolangal Kallakkari, Keelkudi and Purasalur villages.

In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Thangam Thenarasu of DMK won in this constituency beating Rajasekar S of AIADMK by a margin of 60992 votes which was 35.45% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Thangam Thenarasu of DMK was the winner in this seat beating Dinesh Babu, K. of AIADMK by a margin of 26577 votes which was 15.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Thangam Thenarasu of DMK won this seat defeating Esakki Muthu of AIADMK by a margin of 19952 votes which was 13.29% of the total votes polled for the seat.
