In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Anumula Revanth Reddy of INC won in this seat defeating Rajashekar Reddy Marri of TRS by a margin of 10,919 votes which was 0.7% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 38.61% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Malla Reddy of TDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Hanumanth Rao Mynampally of TRS by a margin of 28,166 votes which was 1.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP secured a vote share of 32.3% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Sarvey Sathyanarayana of INC won this seat beating BheemsenT of TDP by a margin of 93,326 votes which was 7.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 32.2% in the seat.
