Alipurduar (M), 4. Chaporerpar-I, Chaporerpar-II, and Tatpara-II GPs of CDB Alipurduar-II

This constituency covers an approximate area of 411 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Alipurduars is: 26°32'23.6"N 89°23'25.4"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Suman Kanjilal of BJP won in this constituency beating Sourav Chakraborty (Ghutis) of TMC by a margin of 16007 votes which was 7.25% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Sourav Chakraborty(Ghutish) of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Biswa Ranjan Sarkar of INC by a margin of 11958 votes which was 5.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Debaprasad Roy (Mithu) of INC won this seat defeating Kshiti Goswami of RSP by a margin of 6783 votes which was 3.92% of the total votes polled for the seat.
