Darjeeling (M) and 3.Dhootria Kalej Valley, Ghum Khasmahal, Sukhia-Simana, Rangbhang Gopaldhara, Pokhriabong-I, Pokhriabong-II, Pokhriabong-III, Lingia Maraybong, Permaguri Tamsang, Plungdung and Rangbul GPs of CDB Jorebunglow Sukiapokhri

This constituency covers an approximate area of 531 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Darjeeling is: 27°03'32.8"N 88°09'40.7"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Neeraj Tamang Zimba of BJP won in this constituency beating Keshav Raj Sharma of IND by a margin of 21276 votes which was 12.81% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Amar Singh Rai of GOJAM was the winner in this seat beating Sarda Rai Subba of TMC by a margin of 49913 votes which was 31.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Trilok Kumar Dewan of GOJAM won this seat defeating Bim Subba of GNLF by a margin of 106555 votes which was 69.41% of the total votes polled for the seat.
