This constituency covers an approximate area of 8 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Rashbehari is: 22°30'39.2"N 88°20'52.8"E.

According to data released by the Election Commission of India, In 2021, this seat registered a turnout of 59.71%, while it was 67.12% in 2016, and 67.67% in 2011.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Debasish Kumar of TMC won in this constituency beating Lt Gen (Dr ) Subrata Saha of BJP by a margin of 21414 votes which was 17.44% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Ashutosh Chatterjee of INC by a margin of 14553 votes which was 10.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay of TMC won this seat defeating Shantanu Basu of CPIM by a margin of 49894 votes which was 36.79% of the total votes polled for the seat.
