In 2015, Adarsh Shastri of AAP was the winner in this seat beating Parduymn Rajput of BJP by a margin of 39,366 votes which was 29.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In 2013, Parduymn Rajput of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Ravi Kumar Suryan of AAP by a margin of 5,197 votes which was 4.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2008 Assembly elections, Mahabal Mishra of INC won this seat defeating Parduymn Rajput of BJP by a margin of 13,981 votes which was 16.78% of the total votes polled for the seat.
