In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Atul Moreshwar Save of BJP won in this constituency beating Dr Abdul Gaffar Quadri Syed of AIMIM by a margin of 13,562 votes which was 06.94% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Atul Moreshwar Save of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dr Abdul Gaffar Quadri of AIMIM by a margin of 4,260 votes which was 2.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Darda Rajendra Jawaharlal of INC won this seat defeating Karad Dr Bhagwat Kisanrao of BJP by a margin of 15,225 votes which was 12.18% of the total votes polled for the seat.
