In 2014, Sangram Anantrao Thopate of INC was the winner in this seat beating Kuldip Sudam Konde of SS by a margin of 18,951 votes which was 8.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Thopate Sangram Anantrao of INC won this seat defeating Dhamale Sharad Bajirao of SS by a margin of 18,580 votes which was 9.78% of the total votes polled for the seat.
