In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Yogesh Sagar of BJP won in this constituency beating Kalu Budhelia of INC by a margin of 73,655 votes which was 48.40% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Yogesh Sagar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Shubhada Subhash Gudekar of SS by a margin of 64,367 votes which was 40.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Yogesh Sagar of BJP won this seat defeating Bharat Parekh of INC by a margin of 16,363 votes which was 12.75% of the total votes polled for the seat.
