In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ravindra Dattaram Waikar of SS won in this constituency beating Sunil Bisan Kumre of INC by a margin of 58,570 votes which was 39.32% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ravindra Dattaram Waikar of SS was the winner in this seat beating Ujwala Modak of BJP by a margin of 28,962 votes which was 17.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Waikar Ravindra Dattaram of SS won this seat defeating Jagtap Ashok Arjunrao Alias Bhai Jagtap of INC by a margin of 13,775 votes which was 9.41% of the total votes polled for the seat.
