This constituency covers an approximate area of 1357.55 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 19°37'49.1"N 77°19'26.0"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bangar Santosh Laxmanrao of SS won in this constituency beating Ajit Magar of VBA by a margin of 16,124 votes which was 07.63% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Tarfe Santosh Kautika of INC was the winner in this seat beating Gajanan Vitthalrao Ghuge of SS by a margin of 10,536 votes which was 5.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Satav Rajiv Shankarrao of INC won this seat defeating Ghuge Gajanan Vitthalrao of SS by a margin of 8,227 votes which was 4.91% of the total votes polled for the seat.
