In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Prakash Rajaram Surve of SS won in this constituency beating Nayan Pradeep Kadam of MNS by a margin of 49,075 votes which was 32.42% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Prakash Surve of SS was the winner in this seat beating Hemendra Ratilal Mehta of BJP by a margin of 20,385 votes which was 12.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Darekar Pravin Yashwant of MNS won this seat defeating Prakash Surve of NCP by a margin of 12,985 votes which was 8.91% of the total votes polled for the seat.
