In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kisan Shankar Kathore of BJP won in this constituency beating Pramod Vinayak Hindurao of NCP by a margin of 1,35,625 votes which was 58.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kisan Shankar Kathore of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Gotiram Padu Pawar of NCP by a margin of 26,230 votes which was 11.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kathore Kisan Shankar of NCP won this seat defeating Pawar Gotiram Padu of IND by a margin of 6,542 votes which was 3.65% of the total votes polled for the seat.
