This constituency covers an approximate area of 11.8 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 28°32'48.5"N 77°15'50.8"E.

In 2015, Sahi Ram of AAP was the winner in this seat beating Vikram Bidhuri of BJP by a margin of 33,701 votes which was 32.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In 2013, Ramesh Bidhuri of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Sahi Ram of BSP by a margin of 5,946 votes which was 6.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2008 Assembly elections, Ramesh Bidhuri of BJP won this seat defeating Sahi Ram of BSP by a margin of 8,234 votes which was 10.34% of the total votes polled for the seat.
