In 2014, Sangram Arunkaka Jagtap of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Anilbhayya Ramkisan Rathod of SS by a margin of 3,317 votes which was 2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Anil Bhayya Ramkisan Rathod of SS won this seat defeating Gundecha Suvalal Anandram of INC by a margin of 39,545 votes which was 29.81% of the total votes polled for the seat.
