This constituency covers an approximate area of 1940.25 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 20°52'27.5"N 80°07'52.0"E.

In 2014, Badole Rajkumar Sudamji of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Nandagawali Rajesh Mulchand of INC by a margin of 30,295 votes which was 17.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Badole Rajkumar Sudam of BJP won this seat defeating Raut Ramlal Budhaji of INC by a margin of 16,307 votes which was 10.88% of the total votes polled for the seat.
