In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ajabe Balasaheb Bhausaheb of NCP won in this constituency beating Bhimrao Anandrao Dhonde of BJP by a margin of 25,914 votes which was 10.76% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Dhonde Bhimrao Anandrao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dhas Suresh Ramchandra of NCP by a margin of 5,982 votes which was 2.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dhas Suresh Ramchandra of NCP won this seat defeating Ajabe Balasaheb Bhausaheb of BJP by a margin of 34,690 votes which was 16.11% of the total votes polled for the seat.
