In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sanjay Pandurang Shirsat of SS won in this constituency beating Raju Ramrao Shinde of IND by a margin of 40,054 votes which was 20.07% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sanjay Shirsat of SS was the winner in this seat beating Madhukar Damodhar Sawant of BJP by a margin of 6,927 votes which was 3.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shirsat Sanjay Pandurang of SS won this seat defeating Parkhe Chandrabhan Banduji of INC by a margin of 14,211 votes which was 11.86% of the total votes polled for the seat.
