In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Abhimanyu Dattatray Pawar of BJP won in this constituency beating Basavaraj Mahadvarao Patil of INC by a margin of 26,679 votes which was 14.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Basavraj Madhavrao Patil of INC was the winner in this seat beating Dinkar Baburao Mane of SS by a margin of 8,858 votes which was 5.06% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
