In 2014, Rahul Siddhavinayak Bondre of INC was the winner in this seat beating Khabutare Sureshaappa Wamanaappa of BJP by a margin of 14,061 votes which was 7.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bondre Rahul Siddhavinayak of INC won this seat defeating Prakash Rustumrao Javanjal of BJP by a margin of 27,916 votes which was 17.84% of the total votes polled for the seat.
