This constituency covers an approximate area of 2077.45 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 20°31'35.0"N 79°32'13.6"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bunty Bhangdiya of BJP won in this constituency beating Satish Manohar Warjukar of INC by a margin of 9,706 votes which was 04.67% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Banti Bhangdiya of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dr Avinash Manoharrao Warjukar of INC by a margin of 25,155 votes which was 12.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Wadettiwar Vijay Namdeorao of INC won this seat defeating Vasantbhau Narayan Warjurkar of BJP by a margin of 30,616 votes which was 18.1% of the total votes polled for the seat.
