In 2014, Rathod Sanjay Dulichand of SS was the winner in this seat beating Vasant Vishvasrao Ghuikhedkar of NCP by a margin of 79,864 votes which was 39.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Rathod Sanjay Dulichand of SS won this seat defeating Deshmukh Sanjay Uttamrao of INC by a margin of 54,145 votes which was 28.11% of the total votes polled for the seat.
