In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sunil Prabhu of SS won in this constituency beating Vidya Chavan of NCP by a margin of 44,445 votes which was 28.45% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sunil Prabhu of SS was the winner in this seat beating Rajhans Singh Dhananjay Singh of INC by a margin of 19,828 votes which was 12.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Rajhans Singh Dhananjay Singh of INC won this seat defeating Sunil Prabhu of SS by a margin of 5,865 votes which was 4.31% of the total votes polled for the seat.
