In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sada Sarvankar of SS won in this constituency beating Sandeep Sudhakar Deshpande of MNS by a margin of 18,614 votes which was 15.01% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sada Sarvankar of SS was the winner in this seat beating Nitin Sardesai of MNS by a margin of 5,941 votes which was 4.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Nitin Vijaykumar Sardesai of MNS won this seat defeating Sadananad Shankar Saravankar of INC by a margin of 8,926 votes which was 6.93% of the total votes polled for the seat.
