In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sunil Shankarrao Shelke of NCP won in this constituency beating Bala Alias Sanjay Vishwanath Bhegade of BJP by a margin of 93,871 votes which was 37.82% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bhegade Sanjay (Bala) Vishwanath of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dnyanoba Alias Mauli Dabhade of NCP by a margin of 28,001 votes which was 13.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bala Alias Sanjay Vishwanath Bhegade of BJP won this seat defeating Bapu Jaywantrao Bhegade of NCP by a margin of 14,318 votes which was 7.8% of the total votes polled for the seat.
